The Simply Live encoder is a 19 inch 1U high system with two Ethernet connections for management end the connection with the public Internet. The system supports both DHCP and fixed IP number configuration via the front LCD panel. The management interface is WEB based and makes it possible to configure maximum bitrate, video resolution and delay. Also the IP configuration can be done via the WEB interface.
The solution can be delivered point to point or via a backend server as explained in chapter 4.The backend server is available in two flavors. The basic backend Server can handle 2 Simply Live encoders and 2 playout systems and store up to 25 hours of D1 video (depending on the hardware version).
The premium server can handle 20 Simply Live encoders and 20 playout systems and store up to 100 hours of D1 video (depending on the hardware version).
